The Google Pixel 8a features a reinforced glass front with Gorilla Glass 3, an aluminum frame, and a plastic back, combining durability with cost efficiency. It’s rated IP67 for dust and water resistance (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). The phone measures about 152.1 × 72.7 × 8.9 mm and weighs 188 grams. It comes in colors like Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Aloe.

Display
Equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080 × 2400), 20:9 aspect ratio, and around 430-431 ppi pixel density. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth animations and responsiveness, HDR for high dynamic range content, and always-on display features. Peak brightness can reach up to roughly 2000 nits under certain conditions, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight.

Performance
The phone runs on Google’s Tensor G3 chip (built on a 4 nm process), paired with 8 GB RAM. It offers two storage variants: 128 GB and 256 GB, without expandable storage. The combination of hardware and Google’s software optimization delivers a fluid mid-range experience, particularly good with photography, AI features, and general day-to-day usage.
