Design & Build
The Infinix Hot 50i features a modern bar design with a large 6.7-inch display up front protected by glass, and a plastic frame and back. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures approximately 165.7 × 77.1 × 8.1 mm, weighs around 184 g, and carries an IP54 rating, offering protection from dust and splashes. Available in Sleek Black, Sage Green, Titanium Grey, and Purple.

Display
It sports a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of around 500 nits. The resolution is HD+ (720 × 1600), giving ~260-270 ppi, and the screen supports features like an Always-On Display and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.

Performance
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset (12nm), with an octa-core CPU (2x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 + 6x 1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. RAM options are 4 GB or 6 GB, and internal storage is available in 128 GB or 256 GB, with a dedicated microSD slot for expansion up to ~2 TB in supported regions. It runs Android 14 with XOS 14.5 skin.

Rear Camera System
A 48 MP main wide camera with autofocus handles most imaging tasks. There is also an auxiliary lens (basic & low-resolution) for features like AI enhancements. The rear camera supports dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR, and video recording at 1080p@30fps.

Front Camera
The selfie camera is 8 MP wide (f/2.0) housed in the punch hole, capable of capturing decent selfies and 1080p video.

Video Recording
Rear video can be recorded at 1080p@30fps, and front video similarly at 1080p@30fps. Stabilization and low-light video performance are basic, as expected at this price point.

Battery Life
It comes with a 5,000 mAh non-removable battery, which is ample for full-day usage under moderate load. Charging is via an 18W wired charger. The phone also supports reverse wired charging and bypass charging in some markets.

Operating System
Shipped with Android 14 with XOS 14.5. It includes Infinix’s software customizations and features such as Dynamic Bar, standard Android security & privacy features, and regional extras depending on market.

Supports dual nano-SIMs, 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi (dual band), Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C 2.0 port, OTG. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and includes stereo speakers in some markets. Sensors include accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass.
